How it works.. Just like a undergravel filter is hooked up to an air pump to circulate water and use the waters current created from the bubbles to circulate the dirt to the bottom... This is hooked up to a air pump that attaches to the sand fountain with tubing and uses the current created from the bubbles to move the sand up and out of the 'sand spout'. It's really neat! PS. It comes with sand prepackaged for the fountain, but u will eventually run out b/c it spills over. So you need to find really FINE aquarium sand. Now the sand in my aquarium is different from the sand in the fountain, and the sand I use is POOL FILTER SAND from any pool maintenance store. Yes it is safe and it's really inexpensive! Hope I answered all the questions!

The video explains pretty much the whole idea of the perpetuum mobile. I know that it will be extremely hard to actually build it (it will have to be very tall), but I think it should work in theory. Some people in the comments say that it will stop working after a while, because the energy will be converted into heat etc.. But that's not true. The gravitational energy is the mass times the gravity (9,81 on earth) times the altitude. You can make the machine as high as you want, so the gravitational energy of the 'created' water in the top can be as much as you want. So in theory you can get an infinite amount of gravitational energy of which you can convert as much as possible to electric energy using the generators. With that energy you can split even more water than before, which will result in more hydrogen and eventually in more gravitational energy and electric energy. With my perpetuum mobile you will gain energy, not lose it. According to the first law of thermodynamics a perpetual motion machine is not possible. That's because it says that you can not 'create' or 'destroy' energy (although this law has never been proven). But I want to know WHY this perpetual motion machine doesn't work, because I think it should work. That's why I made this video. If you know why it wouldn't work, please post a comment. Thank you.
